  3. This field will accept only the numbers 1987 thru 2050.
  4. If the field is preloaded with a year there are
  5.     2 special characters which can be used:

  7.     +  will cause the displayed year to be incremented by one
  8.     -  will cause the displayed year to be decremented by one
  9.  
  10. If either of the above characters is entered, the field will be
  11.     updated as specified and no further entries will be allowed.

  13. For ease of use:  If any character is typed in the first position
  14.                   of this field, the remainder of the field will
  15.                   be blanked out.
  16.                   If you desire to modify other digits, use
  17.                   the right-arrow key to step up to them.
